About the Founder
I am Daniela Gonçalves, a future chemist and biologist with huge ambitions, one of which is to do a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. Moreover, my future goals after graduating from university will focus on the democratization of education and science, with a particular concentration on bringing significant changes to the Brazilian public health system (SUS). As a scientist, I will revolutionize research by exploring Brazilian flora diversity to produce natural medicines at affordable prices for the population and work alongside public school educators to disseminate scientific knowledge and opportunities to young people affected by social inequality. Art comes into my life as a valuable counterbalance to my scientific work, enabling me to explore my creativity and personal expression in ways that complement the logic and rigor of scientific research. Moreover, the creative process involved in art teaches me to approach problems uniquely, encouraging innovation and mental flexibility - skills that I consider relevant in any field. That's why I see my artistic hobby not just as a passion but also as a tool for my personal growth and a way of finding a balance between disciplines.
